Daniel Theis will stay in the NBA for the upcoming season.
As Adrian Wojnarowski reported, the German international has agreed on a one-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans.
He will therefore enter his eighth NBA season, after participating with the 2023 FIBA World Cup champions at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Theis was recently linked with the to EuroLeague champions, Panathinaikos, but now it’s clear he’ll continue playing overseas, where he already donned the jerseys of Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, Indiana Pacers and last season, Los Angeles Clippers.
During his stay with the LA team, German big man recorded 59 regular season appereances, and averaged 6,3 points and 4,1 rebounds.
