Vit Krejci is staying with the Atlanta Hawks.

As Adrian Wojnarowski reported, he agreed on a four-year, $10 million deal to return to the team from Georgia.

The Czech international joined Atlanta in December 2023 and played 22 regular season games, averaging 6.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.3 assists, on 41% shooting from beyond the arc.

Quin Snyder gave him a chance and he proved his worth, so he’s returning on a long-term contract.

Krejci started his pro career in 2017 with Spanish club Zaragoza and got drafted in 2020 as the 37th overall pick. He spent another year in Spain before moving to the NBA with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

On September 22, he got traded to the Atlanta Hawks and, interestingly, got waived less than a month later. Krejci tried his luck with the Minnesota Timberwolves but ended up in the G League.

He stayed patient and persistent and ended up signing a stable deal with the Hawks, becoming a player development success story for Quin Snyder, Landry Fields, and the Atlanta organization.
