During last night’s action at the NBA Las Vegas Summer League, a few European players showcased their skills.

Belgium guard Ajay Mitchell was the standout in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s 102-73 loss to the Miami Heat, scoring 21 points with five assists.

Talented Swedish forward Bobi Klintman had more success, leading the Detroit Pistons to an 87-73 victory over the Houston Rockets, finishing a rebound shy of a double-double with 18 points.

The Boston Celtics defeated the LA Lakers 88-74, with Portuguese big man Neemias Queta leading the way with 22 points and eight rebounds. Killian Tillie added eight points in 12 minutes.

Last night also brought some bad news for European prospects, with the Atlanta Hawks announcing that Nikola Djurisic suffered a left foot fracture.

The Serbian player sustained a left foot injury during Sunday’s Summer League game against San Antonio, and an X-ray revealed a fracture.

In his two appearances at the Summer League, Djurisic averaged 4.5 points and one assist and looked to make his case for the Hawks’ final available two-way contract.
