A new wave of European players is making strides in the NBA Summer League.

During last night’s showcase in Las Vegas, a couple excelled, showing they are getting NBA-ready.

Karlo Matkovic had an excellent game for the New Orleans Pelicans and took the spotlight with 25 points and five rebounds despite his side losing 90-85 to the San Antonio Spurs.

Matas Buzelis also didn’t win but led the Chicago Bulls with 18 points and three rebounds in an 85-77 loss to the Detroit Pistons.

Former Cholet player Tidjane Salaun also had a good game, scoring 10 points and ten rebounds in a 66-80 Charlotte Hornets win over the Denver Nuggets.

While Rayan Rupert had 16 points in a Portland Trail Blazers 82-80 win over the Washington Wizards, Alex Sarr struggled to find his shooting rhythm in the losing team.

The No. 2 Draft pick played almost 30 minutes for the Wizards but shot 0/15 from the field, grabbed nine rebounds, and had three assists.
