Still a free agent after the London Lions failed to apply once again for the BKT EuroCup, Matt Morgan is attracting some interest while being in the NBA Summer League with the Charlotte Hornets.
In his team’s 84-68 win over the Portland Trail Blazers, the 26-year-old dropped 36 points over a perfect shooting night with 7/7 from three-point range and 4/4 inside the area. He also added 7/9 at the line. His teammate and rookie Tidjane Salaun had 9 points and 4 rebounds.
Matt Morgan was magnificent both two years ago in Turkey and in the 2022-23 season with Le Mans, before getting the call from the BKT EuroCup with the London Lions. Helping his team arrive to the Semi-Finals where they lost to Paris Basketball, he averaged 16.5 points per game.
