Klay Thompson may have left for the Dallas Mavericks, but Stephen Curry is staying with the Golden State Warriors.

The Warriors star has agreed to a one-year, $62.6 million extension that will keep him under contract through the 2026-2027 season, as Adrian Wojnarowski reported.

Curry had two years remaining on the four-year, $215.4 million contract he signed in August 2021 and was only eligible to sign a one-year extension.

The Warriors parted ways with Thompson and Chris Paul this summer while adding Kyle Anderson, De’Anthony Melton, and Buddy Hield.

Curry averaged 26.4 points on 40.8 percent three-point shooting, 5.1 assists, and 4.5 rebounds per game in 74 starts last season and was one of the key players for Team USA on their way to Olympic gold this summer.
