In the NBA since 2016, Ivica Zubac will now stay in the league at least until 2027.
The Croatian center has indeed signed a three-year contract extension with the Los Angeles Clippers, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The deal is about “$58.6 million, tying him to the franchise for $70 million through the 2027-2028 season”, the reporter says.
Before playing for his national team at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Piraeus, where he dominated with 22.8 points and 11.3 rebounds per game, he had career-high numbers with 11.7 points and 9.2 rebounds per encounter in the 2023-24 season.
With the Clippers since 2019, he previously played on the other side of Los Angeles for three campaigns. Before heading to the NBA, he stayed with Cibona Zagreb and Mega Basket.
