Bogdan Bogdanovic has been a certainty for the Serbian national team, and in the NBA he became an established player in Atlanta’s rotation. Now, he received some praise from Darko Rajakovic.
His countryman and Toronto Raptors head coach, hosted by the Luka i Kuzma podcast, had great words about the 32-year-old shooting guard. “His commitment to basketball is really incredible. He pays a lot of attention to his diet and takes very good care of his body. He is getting better physically every season”, Darko Rajakovic shared.
According to him, there’s no deadline for Bogdan Bogdanovic. “I think he can play in the NBA for another 6-7 years without any problems. I have a hard time preparing for the matches we will play against him. He always has a smile on his face, he enjoys playing basketball very much. I am his fan”, he said.
In the 2023-24 NBA season with the Atlanta Hawks, he put up huge numbers: 16.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game. Prior to joining the team, he also played for Partizan (2010-14) and Fenerbahce (2014-17) before making the overseas jump to Sacramento (2017-20).
After leading the Serbian national team to the silver medal at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup, he was also one of the protagonists of the bronze-medal trajectory at Paris 2024. From the first game against Team USA to the third-place final against Germany, he put up 18.3 points per game.
