Manisa Basket guard Javon Freeman-Liberty will be leaving the team to sign with the Chicago Bulls, the Turkish club announced. He’s the second player who’s moving to another team after Maccabi Tel Aviv-bound Saben Lee.

Freeman-Liberty played only Basketball Champions League game with Manisa, scoring 22 points on 9 – 19 from the field and grabbing six rebounds in an away win at contender UCAM Murcia. In Turkey, he had nine points and five rebounds in a home defeat to Bursaspor.

This won’t be Freeman-Liberty’s first NBA stint. Last season, he played 22 games with the Toronto Raptors, averaging 7.0 points and 3.2 rebounds in 18.3 minutes before signing with Manisa for his debut experience in overseas basketball.

In the first season of his professional career, Freeman-Liberty was a member of the Windy City Bulls, Chicago’s G-League affiliate team.
