Debuting with the Atlanta Hawks in the 2024 NBA Preseason, French forward Zaccharie Risacher scored 18 points alongside three rebounds and two assists.
His side defeated the Indiana Pacers, 131-130, in a nail-biter with an exciting finish on Tuesday at State Farm Arena.
The top pick of the 2024 NBA draft made 7/9 from the field, including three triples to tip off preseason action.
“I was super excited for the game. This whole process you know, training camp and everything, that was the start of something great,” he mentioned after the exhibition, “I was super excited and I am glad that it went well.”
Meanwhile, Czech Vit Krejci delivered an unreal assist en route to a game-high six dimes for the team coached by Quin Snyder. Starting center, Swiss Clint Capela chipped in 11 points and nine rebounds.
Coming out of the 2024 Olympic Games, Serbian Bogdan Bogdanovic was rested for the first preseason game of the Hawks.

In his second preseason appearance, another promising French upstart Tidjane Salaun went for 15 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and one steal, powering the Charlotte Hornets to a win, 111-108, over the Miami Heat in Spectrum Center. French Moussa Diabate put in four points and ten rebounds. Serbian Vasilije Micic was limited to one missed shot and four turnovers.
On the losing end of the friendly contest, Swedish rookie Pelle Larsson finished with ten points and Serbian Nikola Jovic recorded nine points.
