Playing in the NFL is part of the plan for 23-year-old Anthony Edwards.
Switching from football to basketball at a young age, before high school, led to the NBA as the top pick of the 2020 NBA draft, coming out of a brilliant NCAA campaign with Georgia. From there to ranking second in the vote for the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2021, getting an All-Star nod in 2023 and 2024, representing the United States in the 2023 World Cup, and winning a gold medal in the 2024 Olympic Games.
However, he also wants to play football at a professional level, looking to prove that NBA players can excel in the NFL.
