Franz Wagner and Magic on a roll, Vucevic and Bulls hot vs. Giannis’ Bucks

Franz Wagner scored 29 points and grabbed six rebounds as the Orlando Magic beat the Brooklyn Nets 116 – 101 at home to begin the new NBA season with two wins in a row.

Moe Wagner came off the bench to drop 18 points in just 15 minutes. Paolo Banchero had 14 points, nine assists and six rebounds. Overall, Orlando shot 15 out of 30 from the 3-point line.

Dennis Schroder posted 20 points and six assists against the Wagners, his German national team teammates.

Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 38 points and 11 rebounds weren’t enough for the Milwaukee Bucks against the hot Chicago Bulls. Nikola Vucevic notched 22 points and 10 rebounds to help his team take a 133 – 122 win on the road.

The Montenegrin big man made particular damage from afar with 4 out of 9 triples as the Bulls hit 21 3-pointers ovrall. Coby White was the one to hurt the Bucks the most, draining 7 – 13 threes for 35 points, while also registering six rebounds and five assists.
