In last night’s NBA action, Jordi Fernandez celebrated his first-ever head coaching victory – the first one in history for a Spanish head coach in the biggest basketball league worldwide – as the Brooklyn Nets took down the Milwaukee Bucks 115-102 at home.

Following the second straight team’s defeat after losing to Chicago, Giannis Antetokounmpo touched on Milwaukee’s current status in the post-game aftermath. “Right now, we don’t have an identity”, the Greek national team’s superstar first commented about Doc Rivers’ team.

“How are we going to win the game? Are we going to defend for 48 minutes? Are we going to move the ball for 48 minutes? Are we going to attack? We’ve gotta find an identity. We don’t have that right now”, the Greek Freak extended his thoughts on the start of the season, which sees the Bucks at 1-2.

While Dennis Schroder stole the show with a 29-point winning performance, Giannis Antetokounmpo had a substantial losing effort with a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds, while also sharing 7 assists. The two-time NBA MVP shot 7/11 from the field and 8/11 at the charity stripe.

After not finishing last year’s NBA action due to injury and missing the Playoffs run, the 29-year-old superstar has been averaging 28.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 6.3 assists per game, shooting 66.7% from the field since the start of the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season.
