The Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Boston Celtics, 119-108, and fell to 1-3 in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season.

On Monday in TD Garden, Giannis Antetokounmpo connected 14/26 field goals for 30 points. The Greek Freak added ten rebounds and six assists but also registered seven turnovers.

“Even if we sucked, if we were very very bad, it is the fourth game of the season, you have to be optimistic. This is the job that we are in,” he reacted to the poor start, “We have a great team. I believe we will keep on playing better, learning from our mistakes. Eventually, we are going to start winning games.”

“I do not care about the record. I care about keep on building, people being healthy, and get where we want to get,” added Giannis.

The defending champions jumped to 4-0. Fresh off being named Eastern Conference Player of the Week for the first week of the Regular Season, Jayson Tatum chipped in 15 points. Jaylen Brown tallied 30 points.

The Player of the Week in the Western Conference, Anthony Davis was on the wrong end of the 109-105 victory for the Phoenix Suns versus the Los Angeles Lakers in Footprint Center. He posted a 29-point, 15-rebound double-double.

Despite starting for the hosts, Bosnian Jusuf Nurkic was held to 15 minutes. He had two points with 1/6 from the field, four rebounds, and two blocks. “Get a win,” he said after the game, “That is all it takes.”
