The season hasn’t already started and there are three major blows to teams with high ambitions.
First and foremost Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant suffered a left calf strain and will be reevaluated in two weeks, per ESPN.
Durant was hurt in the game against Dallas and he is more than important for the West-leading Suns.
Memphis Grizzlies superstar guard Ja Morant is considered week-to-week after imaging revealed a posterior hip subluxation along with multiple associated Grade 1 pelvic muscle strains, the team announced Saturday.
Without Morant, the Grizzlies who are currently 7th in the West, have a much lower ceiling.
Last but not least, New Orleans Pelicans star forward Zion Williamson has been diagnosed with a left hamstring strain and is out indefinitely, the team announced Saturday.
Williamson is expected to miss several weeks, per ESPN.
Without Zion who has already missed four games in the season, the Pelicans with a 3-7 record right now, are an easy target.
