For the first time this season, the Atlanta Hawks beat the Washington Wizards, getting the 129-117 win in the NBA Cup, after two straight losses.
This is becoming a clash between French talents, and last night was no exception whatsoever. No.1 overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft Zaccharie Risacher contributed with 11 points in the Hawks‘ victory.
On the other side, the No.2 overall pick Alexandre Sarr had a losing effort of 20 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks – shooting 7/13 from the field. His teammate Bilal Coulibaly, instead, went close to a double-double with 9 points and 9 rebounds, adding 5 assists and 2 steals.
The former JL Bourg-en-Bresse talent has been averaging 11.7 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in his first season in the NBA; Alexandre Sarr, instead, is having 9.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game.
Bilal Coulibaly is currently playing his second year in the NBA, putting up 15.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game.
