In Rocket Mortage Fieldhouse, the Cleveland Cavaliers went up to 15-0 with a win, 128-114, over the Charlotte Hornets on NBA Sundays.

Lasting 14 minutes in his fifth appearance in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season, Vasilije Micic scored nine points with 3/4 triples. He also dished out two assists.

“It was going to keep everybody in a little bit of a comfort zone in terms of what their role would be,” head coach Charles Lee explained the contributions of the experienced Serbian guard, “He can initiate the offense for us. He knows the sets very well. I thought that he actually brought some great energy tonight. He’s done a really good job of preparing himself, his mind, and his body. He’s approached every day, even though he has not been in the rotation, like a true professional.”

Also coming off the bench, French Moussa Diabate logged two points, four rebounds, one block, and one steal over 11 minutes. Fellow French reserve Tidjane Salaun recorded one rebound, one steal, and one block in 14 minutes.

Anunoby scores 24 points

In the Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks took down the Brooklyn Nets, 114-104. British O.G. Anunoby put in 24 points and eight rebounds. French Pacome Dadiet chipped in one rebound, one assist, and one block. German Ariel Hukporti did not play.

For the team coached by Spanish Jordi Fernandez, German Dennis Schroder finished with eight points and six dimes. Croatian Bojan Bogdanovic (left foot) remained sidelined.

“We kept fighting until the end. That’s what we want to do, without excuses,” mentioned Fernandez.
