Giannis Antetokounmpo’s 37-point triple-double took down Indiana

It took the best version of Giannis Antetokounmpo for the Milwaukee Bucks to be successful at home against the Indiana Pacers, winning 129-117 in front of their fans, and staying unbeaten in Group B of the NBA Cup Eastern Conference.

The Greek Freak put up one of those nights, finishing with a triple-double of 37 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists in his team’s win. He shot pretty well from the field (14/21) and at the line (9/11).

Thus far in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season and NBA Cup, the two-time MVP has been averaging impressive numbers. The 29-year-old Greek phenomenon is currently putting up 32.1 points, 12.1 rebounds, and 6.1 assists per game for the Milwaukee Bucks.

First double-double for Yabusele

Last night, it marked the first time that Guerschon Yabusele recorded a double-double since returning to the NBA with the Philadelphia 76ers by leaving Real Madrid and the EuroLeague. The French power forward had 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists in his team’s 113-98 win over Brooklyn.

His countrymen Alexandre Sarr (6 points and 9 rebounds) and Bilal Coulibaly (6 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists) weren’t enough for Washington against Boston; Domantas Sabonis’ double-double of 24 points and 15 rebounds wasn’t enough for the Kings too, visiting the Clippers.

Elsewhere, Clint Capela (21 points and 11 rebounds) and Nikola Vucevic (18 points and 13 rebounds) battled it out in Chicago’s home win over the Hawks. Bogdan Bogdanovic added 16 points off the bench for Atlanta. Alperen Sengun had 14 points and 8 rebounds as Houston beat Portland.
