Giannis Antetokounmpo and Nikola Jokic had 30+ point double-doubles

The triple-double streak finished at five consecutive games for Nikola Jokic, but the result didn’t change: another opponent, another important personal effort, and another win for the Nuggets.

Denver managed to come out victorious from facing the Los Angeles Lakers at home, winning by 25 points (127-102) on the road. Following this result, the Nuggets are now 5th in the West at 9-6.

The Joker was particularly impressive for Mike Malone’s team, ending with 34 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists, still going close to the triple-double. Nine of Nikola Jokic’s points came in the third quarter, in which Denver scored 37 points to close out the encounter.

Another huge night for Giannis

Following on another two-time NBA MVP, Giannis Antetokounmpo keeps on playing like a dominant superstar, extending Milwaukee’s home record to 7-3. The Greek Freak was huge in leading the Bucks to the 125-119 win in front of their fans, beating the Charlotte Hornets.

No.34 ended with a massive double-double of 32 points and 11 rebounds, dishing 6 assists. He shot 12/23 from the field and 7/10 at the charity stripe. For Charlotte, Tidjane Salaun had 6 points and 2 rebounds off the bench, while Vasilije Micic finished scoreless in only eight minutes of playing time.

It was also a huge night for Franz Wagner, who flirted with a triple-double in the 111-100 win at home against Detroit. The 23-year-old German talent had 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists shooting 11/22 from the field inspiring Orlando’s victory. His brother Moritz had 18 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists.
