In the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season, the Greek Freak is up to 32.4 points, 11.9 rebounds, 6.4 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 0.6 steals per contest over 16 appearances. Helping the Milwaukee Bucks overcome a poor start and jump to 8-9, he was named Player of the Week in the Eastern Conference, earlier Monday. The team coached by Doc Rivers resumes action against the Miami Heat in Kaseya Center on Tuesday, a game counting for the Regular Season and the Emirates NBA Cup as well.
Since being drafted by the Bucks in 2013, Giannis has emerged as the most important asset of the franchise. The peak was becoming an NBA champion in 2021 combined with the Bill Russell NBA Finals Most Valuable Player award. Building his way to history-making success, he was named season MVP in 2018-19 and 2019-20. In addition, an ongoing streak of eight appearances in the annual All-Star Game includes the Kobe Bryant Most Valuable Player award in 2021.
Beyond the league based in North America, Antetokounmpo has been a regular for the senior national team of Greece after debuting at the international level and displaying his talents in the 2013 U20 European Championship. He went on to the 2014 and 2019 FIBA World Cup, the 2015 and 2022 EuroBasket, and last summer’s Olympic Games.
