Victor Wembanyama became the youngest center in NBA history with a 30-point triple-double on Sunday.

He went for 34 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists, three blocks, and one steal, lifting the San Antonio Spurs over the Sacramento Kings, 127-125, in Golden 1 Center.

The French prodigy made 11/17 from the field, including 5/9 triples.

“I feel very lucky. Before every game and every day, I just say thanks, I remember I am one of the luckiest persons alive, that I have the chance to live this incredible life,” he described his experience as a generational talent displaying his talents in the NBA.

Struggling to contain Wemby alongside his teammates, Lithuanian Domantas Sabonis logged a 25-point, 13-rebound double-double plus six assists over 36 minutes. “He is shooting the ball better and better. That’s what makes it tough,” he commented on guarding the 20-year-old big.

Another European triple-double on NBA Sundays, Nikola Jokic combined 28 points with 14 rebounds and 11 assists. With his eighth triple-double in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season, he caught Magic Johnson at 138 and third on the all-time list of the NBA.

Despite the brilliant display of the Serbian superstar, the Denver Nuggets lost, 126-122, to the Los Angeles Clippers in Intuit Dome.

Croatian starting center, Ivica Zubac was held to six points with 2/9 from the field but tallied eight rebounds and five assists over 35 minutes. French Nicolas Batum finished with three points, five assists, and three rebounds in 23 minutes.
