Houston Rockets‘ Turkish international Alperen Sengun shined last week in the NBA, leading the Texas team to a perfect 3-0 record during that span.
For his outstanding performances, Sengun has been named the Western Conference Player of the Week.
During the sixth week of the 2024/25 NBA season, Houston’s big man nearly averaged a triple-double with 21.3 points, 12.7 rebounds, and nine assists per game.
In his 21 regular season appearances, Sengun is currently averaging 18.8 points, 10.9 rebounds, and 5.3 assists. The Rockets are second in the Western Conference standings with a 15-6 record.
In the East, the Week 6 honors went to New York Knicks‘ point guard Jalen Brunson, who averaged 26.8 points and 9.8 assists while leading the Knicks to three wins in four games.
