Domantas Sabonis has reached the level of Sacramento’s go-to guy for a long time now, and he just keeps delivering by putting his team’s efforts into winning. Last night, it was no exception.

The Lithuanian center dropped a double-double of 22 points and 16 rebounds against the San Antonio Spurs, shooting 7/12 from the field and 8/9 at the charity stripe while also sharing 4 assists.

Gregg Popovich’s franchise didn’t have Victor Wembanyama on board for this game, but two Europeans still went out to the court. The Georgian Sandro Mamukelashvili had 8 points and 6 rebounds, while the Polish all-arounder Jeremy Sochan had 14 points and 5 rebounds.

Another Franz Wagner’s 30-point night

Orlando and Philadelphia clashed as Europeans battled each other. Franz Wagner, for example, dropped the umpteenth 30-point game of this NBA season – with 5 rebounds and 5 assists too -, while his brother Moritz had 12 points and 9 boards. Guerschon Yabusele pushed his team to the win with 16 points.

Giannis Antetokounmpo also had a huge losing effort, ending with a double-double of 30 points and 11 rebounds against the reigning champions of Boston; the same applied to Nikola Vucevic, who finished with 13 points and 9 boards in the defeat against Indiana. Matas Buzelis added 8 points off the bench.

Rudy Gobert contributed to Minnesota’s 107-90 win over Golden State with a double-double of 17 points and 11 rebounds; elsewhere, instead, the Utah Jazz absolutely destroyed Portland by 42 points (141-99) as Svi Mykhailiuk had 13 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists. Deni Avdija had 6 points and 5 rebounds.
