Domantas Sabonis played one of his best, if not the best, games of the season, leading the Sacramento Kings to a road victory.
He guided the Kings to a 109-111 win against the New Orleans Pelicans, recording an impressive double-double.
Sabonis scored 32 points and grabbed 20 rebounds, all on 11/15 shooting from the field. With this performance, he joined Nikola Jokic and Joel Embiid as the only players to achieve those numbers with a 70%+ field goal percentage in the 2020s.
Daniel Theis couldn’t help the Pelicans contain him, contributing seven points, two rebounds, and two assists in 14 and a half minutes.
While not as dominant as Sabonis, Kristaps Porzingis also stood out for his team in a win. The Latvian center scored 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds as the Boston Celtics defeated the Detroit Pistons 123-99 at TD Garden.
Neemias Queta added four points and two boards for the Celtics, while Simone Fontecchio contributed six points for the Pistons.
Finally, the Miami Heat beat the Toronto Raptors 114-104, with Nikola Jovic contributing 14 points and four rebounds in 24 minutes.
A solid role from the Serbian forward, while on the other side, Jakob Poeltl had 16 points and four rebounds in a losing effort for Darko Rajakovic’s team.
