After 22 regular season appearances, Giannis Antetokounmpo is the leading scorer in the NBA, with 32.7 points per game.
Speaking about his game and mindset with his brother Thanasis, the Milwaukee Bucks star believes he’s moving up to the next level.
“I feel very confident about myself and my ability, and my belief is very strong. I’m tapping into the next level, and I think there’s one more level. I feel very comfortable being a threat outside, in the midrange. Last year I made 36 midrange shots; this year I’m at 55 already,” Giannis said on the Thanalysis Show.
He still sees more room for growth.
“I have no choice. You have to evolve. You take something and you gotta give something away. There are games I don’t shoot threes. That’s the next level, though.”
Even though he can still evolve as a player, he wants to stay true to himself.
“There is no other Giannis. There’s never been another Giannis throughout the history of the game… Why would I try to change? I just gotta evolve Giannis. And that was my mindset all year. Evolve Giannis. Every single day. It’s been working so far,” Giannis Antetokounmpo concluded.
