Struggling to find his way into the NBA landscape, Vasilije Micic registered his career-high in scoring for the 2024-25 season in a 108-98 away defeat by the Charlotte Hornets against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Serbian player, formerly dominating the EuroLeague with Anadolu Efes, finished with 20 points and 4 assists in the losing effort. Coming off the bench, the French talent Tidjane Salaun, last year in the Basketball Champions League, dropped 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists.

On the 76ers’ side, Joel Embiid erupted for 34 points, while Guerschon Yabusele kept on contributing to Philadelphia’s results by coming off the bench. The French forward added 9 points and 5 boards.

Elsewhere in the league, Giannis Antetokounmpo dropped a losing effort too, as the Greek Freak had a huge double-double of 34 points and 14 rebounds in Milwaukee’s 124-101 away loss to Cleveland.

Talking about Europeans who shone last night, Isaiah Hartenstein delivered once again for the Oklahoma City Thunder, this time contributing to the 104-97 win over Miami. The German center had 13 points and 18 rebounds against the Heat.
