Victor Wembanyama put up 30 points, a career-high-tying 10 blocks and seven rebounds to push the San Antonio Spurs past the Portland Trail Blazers 114 – 94.

The French big man could’ve easily had a triple-double but didn’t play in the last eight minutes of the game due to the big margin in favor of his team.

Wembanyama finished with 4 out of 8 triples to become the first player in NBA history with a combination of four 3-pointers and 10 blocks in a game. He also became the first players below 21 years of age to have multiple games with 10 blocks or more since 1974 when the NBA began recording them.

Deni Avdija had a slow night, finishing with seven points on 2 out of 12 shots, plus six rebounds the Blazers.

Rudy Gobert had 18 points and 12 rebounds but the Minnesota Timberwolves couldn’t hold back Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors.

A few days after possibly the worst performance in his career, Curry had 31 points and 10 assists as the Warriors grabbed a 113 – 103 win over Memphis. He had 11 straight points in the fourth period, including three triples.

In his second game with the Warriors, Dennis Schroder dropped nine points on 3 – 8 shots.

The Boston Celtics were too much for the Chicago Bulls, cruising 123 – 98 on the road. The hosts needed a lot more than Nikola Vucevic’s 19 points and 10 rebounds to stand a chance against the reigning champions.
