The Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets have completed a trade centered around guard D’Angelo Russell, according to Shams Charania.
The 28-year-old guard returns to the Nets, with the Lakers also sending Maxwell Lewis and three second-round picks to Brooklyn in exchange for Dorian Finney-Smith and Shake Milton.
Russell returns to Brooklyn, where he played from 2017 to 2019. The NBA Cup champion and 2019 NBA All-Star has averaged 12.4 points and 4.7 assists this season.
The Lakers are acquiring 31-year-old Finney-Smith, who is shooting a career-high 44% from beyond the arc and averaging 10.4 points, along with Milton, who averages 7.4 points and 2.4 assists.
