As it has been proven over the past few years by Franz and Moritz Wagner, the Orlando Magic know how to develop talent coming from Germany.
That’s one of the reasons why Tristan Da Silva – brother of Oscar, now with Bayern Munich in the EuroLeague – has been this successful in his first-ever season in the NBA.
Tonight, without the other two German teammates, he stole the show against Brooklyn at home, helping the Magic come back from a 17-point deficit (97-80) in the fourth quarter.

So far this season, he has been averaging 8.4 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.
Goga Bitadze also marked the difference for Orlando, putting up a huge double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds.
