The Milwaukee Bucks’ convincing display, fueled by Giannis Antetokounmpo, resulted in a 121-105 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Fiserv Forum on Wednesday.

Making 11/21 from the field, the Freak produced a 25-point, 16-rebound double-double. He added eight assists and one block over 35 minutes.

Despite nagging right patella tendinopathy through several weeks, Giannis suited up and helped his side improve to 19-16 in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season.

The visitors fell to 18-19 with Victor Wembanyama combining a 10-point, 10-rebound double-double with three blocks, two steals, and one assist over 33 minutes. “You just have to be as tough as possible with him, get him out of his spot, contest his shot if you can,” the Greek international described facing the French prodigy.

“He’s an incredible talent,” added Giannis, “He’s probably one of the most talented players I’ve ever watched on TV, ever played against. This is his second year in the league, he’s way better than his first year. He’s gonna keep on improving and he has a very, very bright future. He’s just gotta keep working on his game, keep working on himself, keep playing the game with joy and he’s gonna be the face of the league for a lot of years.”

Further European options for the Spurs extended to Georgian Sandro Mamukelashvili pairing seven points with one steal. Polish Jeremy Sochan (low back tightness) was ruled out for the game and French Sidy Cissoko was on a G League assignment.
