Over the past few years with the Sacramento Kings, Domantas Sabonis has rewritten the franchise’s legacy. This time, in the 114-97 road win against the Boston Celtics, was no exception.

The Lithuanian big finished at the bottom line with a majestic double-double of 23 points and 28 rebounds, setting both a new personal career-high and the team’s individual record on such stat.

He also grabbed 8 offensive rebounds, just as many as Boston’s. He went up against Kristaps Porzingis, who also had a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds in Celtics’ defeat.

Other Lithuanians had a memorable night

While a Lithuanian was pushing his limit further in Boston, the other two of his countrymen faced each other as the Washington Wizards suffered a road 138-105 defeat to Chicago.

Coming off the bench and eventually delivering a huge one-handed dunk in transition, Matas Buzelis had 8 points and 3 rebounds against Jonas Valanciunas, who finished with 6 points and 9 rebounds.

Nikola Vucevic concluded his night by helping the Bulls with 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists.
