After travel issues forced a one-hour delay to the tipoff in Fiserv Forum, the Milwaukee Bucks blew out the Miami Heat, 125-96, on Thursday.

Fueling a fifth consecutive win in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season, Giannis Antetokounmpo posted a 25-point, 12-rebound double-double plus four assists and three blocks in just under 32 minutes.

Facing trouble to get out of New Orleans and a severe snowstorm, the Bucks finally returned to Milwaukee three hours before the game.

“This is not the toughest conditions I’ve played basketball. The only difference is that we had to take a flight. I think at the end of the day, if you go through this adversity, I think the team responded very well,” mentioned the Greek international superstar on staying locked in, “We still woke up in a five-star hotel, had breakfast, sat down and talked as a team, while we were waiting for the bus. We had a pretty nice bus ride. And we went to our charter plane, a private plane, everybody has their own seat, you can order some food in the plane, have drinks too.”

On the losing end, Swedish Pelle Larsson got his first NBA start but was limited to 13 minutes and 1/5 from the field.“Grateful for the opportunity but it did not last very long,” he said after pairing four points with five rebounds, “Hopefully, there is more.”

Off the bench and lasting nearly 22 minutes, Serbian Nikola Jovic went for eight points, two assists, and two rebounds.
