Pöltl, Zubac, and Gobert record double-doubles

A host of European players took the court in the NBA last night, with many delivering standout performances.

Jakob Pöltl had another strong game, scoring 21 points and grabbing 14 rebounds in the Toronto Raptors’ 113-104 win over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Darko Rajaković’s team is in great form, winning four straight and six of their last seven matches.

Ivica Zubac also excelled with 25 points and 16 rebounds, though the LA Clippers suffered a narrow 111-109 road loss to the Phoenix Suns.

Rudy Gobert recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the Minnesota Timberwolves’ 100-92 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

Zaccharie Risacher contributed 11 points and seven rebounds for the Hawks, while Clint Capela registered a double-double with 10 points and 15 rebounds. Vít Krejčí added four points, while Bogdan Bogdanović did not play.

With 15 points from OG Anunoby, the New York Knicks crushed the Memphis Grizzlies 143-106. Santi Aldama scored 10 points for the losing side.

Vasilije Micić tallied 11 points and four assists in the Charlotte Hornets’ narrow 112-107 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Another Serbian, Tristan Vukčević, scored 10 points in the Washington Wizards’ 130-108 defeat to the Dallas Mavericks.

Bilal Coulibaly led the Wizards with 16 points, while Jonas Valančiūnas finished with nine points and five rebounds. Alex Sarr added just four points.
