For a second straight year, the NBA draft will be a two-day event.
On Tuesday, the league announced next summer’s 2025 NBA Draft presented by State Farm will take place on June 25 and 26 at Barclays Center.
Per the press release: “The National Basketball Association (NBA) announced today that the NBA Draft 2025 presented by State Farm will take place on Wednesday, June 25 and Thursday, June 26 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., home of the Brooklyn Nets. Coverage on both nights will begin at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN platforms.
The first round will be held on June 25 and air on ABC, ESPN and the ESPN App, and the second round is set for June 26 on ESPN and the ESPN App. ESPN Radio will also provide national coverage of the NBA Draft 2025 presented by State Farm.
The NBA Draft will be a two-day event for the second straight year. Like last year, there will be a five-minute time limit between picks in the first round and a four-minute time limit between picks in the second round.”
Promising upstarts from Europe heading to the draft include Egor Demin, Nolan Traore, Noa Essengue, Ben Saraf, Kasparas Jakucionis, and Hugo Gonzalez.
Cooper Flagg is projected to be the top pick.
Following the 2024-25 Regular Season, the draft lottery will decide the teams selecting from first through fourteenth. The remaining order is determined by the final standings of the Regular Season.
