French phenomenon Victor Wembanyama and Turkish big man Alperen Sengun are joining Serb star Nikola Jokic and the Greek Freak Giannis Antetokounmpo in the upcoming All Star game.
Both Wemby and Sengun are getting their first All-Star appearance.
Per the press release: Seven players were named All-Star reserves in each conference: two guards, three frontcourt players and two additional players at any position. NBA head coaches selected the reserves. The 14 All-Star reserves will join the 10 All-Star starters announced last week to complete the All-Star player pool.
The All-Star Game team GMs (Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith) will draft their respective teams on Thursday, Feb. 6 on TNT as part of the new All-Star game format.
