Making plenty of noise behind brilliant displays with the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season, Guerschon Yabusele becomes a candidate to move via trade.

Several teams have expressed interest in trading for the 29-year-old French forward/center, including the Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, and Denver Nuggets, as reported by HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto on Thursday.

The deadline on February 6 marks the final date for NBA teams to complete trades with the involved players remaining eligible for the 2025 Playoffs. In contrast to the Sixers battling for a spot in the Play-Ins of the Eastern Conference and considered unlikely for an extended postseason run, the Celtics, Knicks, and Nuggets are labeled as championship contenders.

Returning to the NBA after spending two years with the Celtics between 2017 and 2019, Yabusele has tallied 10.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, and 0.8 steals per contest over 44 appearances, including 22 starts for the team coached by Nick Nurse, mainly replacing Joel Embiid as the center position. At 19-27, the 76ers are tied with the Chicago Bulls at the bottom end of the East’s Play-In zone.

Since leaving the C’s, his return to Europe was highlighted by winning the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague with Real Madrid. Additional success extended to multiple domestic titles with Los Blancos and LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne, besides being confirmed among the top options for the senior national team of France en route to silver medals in the most recent editions of the Olympic Games and EuroBasket.
