Snapping a four-game losing streak in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season, the Toronto Raptors outlasted the Philadelphia 76ers, 106-103, in Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday.
With Austrian Jakob Poeltl (right hip pointer) unavailable for Serbian head coach Darko Rajakovic, European participation was limited to the losing end. Specifically French Guerschon Yabusele recording eight points with 2/9 field goals, six rebounds, two assists, and one steal, since Turkish Adem Bona did not play for the team guided by Nick Nurse.
In United Center, the Detroit Pistons dominated with a 42-point lead at the break en route to a 132-92 victory versus the Chicago Bulls. Italian Simone Fontecchio threw in eight points, ten rebounds, one block, one assist, and one steal, and German Dennis Schroder added four points, four assists, and two rebounds. For the hosts, Lithuanian Matas Buzelis combined a team-high 12 points with one rebound and one assist, and Montenegrin Nikola Vucevic had eight points, seven rebounds, one block, and one assist.
Serbian Vasilije Micic (left ankle sprain) was sidelined as the Phoenix Suns lost, 119-112, to the Memphis Grizzlies in Footprint Center. The game was highlighted by Kevin Durant becoming the eighth player to hit the 30,000-point mark. On the winning side, Spanish Santi Aldama chipped in 14 points, five rebounds, one steal, and one assist.
With British O.G. Anunoby (right foot sprain) on the injury list, which also features French Pacome Dadiet (right great toe sprain) among others, the New York Knicks overpowered the Indiana Pacers, 128-115, behind 40 points by Karl-Anthony Towns in Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Logging five minutes, German Ariel Hukporti grabbed two rebounds.
