In his best game in the NBA so far, Matas Buzelis scored a season-high 31 points to push the Chicago Bulls past the Los Angeles Lakers 146 – 115.

Buzelis shot 12 out of 18 from the field, including 5-10 triples. Thanks to his shooting spree, the Lithuanian forward passed his previous record which was 24 points in a win over the Miami Heat back in November.

Luka Doncic’s 34 points, eight rebounds and six assists weren’t enough for the Lakers that couldn’t combine LeBron James’ return from a groin injury with a victory. The Slovenian superstar had 28 of his points in the first half that finished 62 – 65.

The Bulls proceeded to overwhelm the Lakers with their superior offensive game and assumed complete control down the stretch behind 42 points in the fourth period against the Lakers’ 26.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 37 points and grabbed 17 rebounds to lead the Milwaukee Bucks 114 – 108 for the team’s second win in a row.

The Bucks were trailing 49 – 63 early in the second half but strengthened their defense to close the gap to 86 – 89 at the end of the period. With the Kings up 107 – 108 and 4:24 remaining, Milwaukee closed the game with seven unanswered points to get the win.

Jonas Valanciunas produced 18 points and seven rebounds for the Kings that were without injured big man Domantas Sabonis.
