Devin Booker sent the Phoenix Suns to a 108-106 victory versus the Milwaukee Bucks with 2.4 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter. A midrange jumper sealed a fourth consecutive win for his side in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season.

“You have to get a stop. If we get a stop, maybe we have a whole different game. I feel like Devin Booker was able to get to his spot and get a wide-open look. We got to watch the film, I don’t know how that happened, how that took place,” reacted Giannis Antetokounmpo in a media session following Monday’s game in PHX Arena.

After being listed as probable with right patella tendinopathy, the Freak lasted 37 minutes. Making 12/19 from the field, including one three-pointer, he posted a 31-point, 10-rebound double-double alongside five assists and one steal.

“For 48 minutes, I feel like all the guys went out there and competed, played extremely physical. We got a lot of steals and a lot of deflections. Obviously, we could be way better in the rebound and second-chance points, looks,” added Giannis, “I know we didn’t win the game, but leaving this game you are kind of happy that you’re going toward the right direction because this is the only way that we are going to be good.”

The latest matchup between the international superstar with Greece and Kevin Durant also featured a heated moment.

Staying on the Suns bench once more, Serbian Vasilije Micic did not get playing time by head coach Mike Budenholzer, who faced the Bucks for the first time since being fired in 2023.
