The New York Knicks peaked at an advantage of 26 points before settling for a 128-113 victory versus the Dallas Mavericks in a record-breaking evening in Madison Square Garden.

Karl-Anthony Towns and Josh Hart became the first teammates in franchise history to post a triple-double in the same game. Celebrating the success and commenting on Hart also becoming the Knick with the most triple-doubles in a single season, KAT referred to the mastermind behind a dominating league-high of 29 triple-doubles in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season, Nikola Jokic, by calling his teammate Josh Jokic.

Another starter for head coach Tom Thibodeau, British O.G. Anunoby, put in 35 points with 15/24 field goals, including one out of his three triples after quickly wiping blood off his face with his jersey and making a corner shot before checking out for medical assistance. Bouncing back, the 27-year-old winger ended up with just over 38 minutes to his name, tallying five rebounds, two steals, one block, and one assist.

French teammate Pacome Dadiet recorded 93 fruitless seconds. German Ariel Hukporti, in rehab following surgery on his left knee, remained sidelined.

Dennis Schroder starts again

In Little Caesars Arena, the Detroit Pistons routed the San Antonio Spurs, 122-96. Replacing injured Cade Cunningham in the starting lineup for a second straight game, German Dennis Schroder chipped in seven points, six assists, and two rebounds. Italian Simone Fontecchio added two points, three rebounds, and one assist. Swedish Bobi Klintman remained on a G League assignment with the Motor City Cruise.

French Victor Wembanyama (right shoulder deep vein thrombosis) has been sidelined by the Spurs, but Georgian Sandro Mamukelashvili packed 11 points, two rebounds, and one assist on Tuesday. Polish Jeremy Sochan had two points, four rebounds, one block, and one steal.
