The LA Lakers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies with Luka Doncic coming close to a triple-double.
The Slovenian star led the Lakers to a 134-127 road win in Tuomas Iisalo’s first game as interim coach.
Doncic scored 29 points, dished out nine assists, and grabbed eight rebounds, while Austin Reaves led all scorers with 31 points, and LeBron James added 25 for the winning team.
Elsewhere, the Chicago Bulls fell narrowly to the Dallas Mavericks at home, 119-120, despite great performances from Matas Buzelis and Nikola Vučević. Buzelis recorded 28 points, nine rebounds, and six assists, while Vučević added 25 points, nine rebounds, and five assists
The Washington Wizards lost 112-115 to the Brooklyn Nets, with Alex Sarr scoring 12 points and Tristan Vukčević adding eight points and six rebounds for the defeated team.
The Miami Heat beat the Philadelphia 76ers 118-95 on the road, with Pelle Larsson scoring 14 points and grabbing six rebounds, while Adem Bona had 16 points and 10 rebounds for the losing side. With the loss, Sixers are set to miss the Playoffs for the first time in eight years.
Last but not least, the Boston Celtics took down the San Antonio Spurs on the road, with Kristaps Porziņģis scoring 11 points and grabbing eight rebounds. Jeremy Sochan had 18 points and eight rebounds for the hosts, while Sandro Mamukelashvili added six points.
