Nikola Jokić averaged 45 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 10.7 assists in the last three games, but the Denver Nuggets lost them all.
Despite missing a third consecutive triple-double by just one assist, the Colorado team is struggling, and they even lost to the Indiana Pacers for the first time since 2020.
Jokić couldn’t find words to explain what’s happening with the team at the moment.
“I mean, I don’t know. Maybe we just, I really don’t know, actually.”
He then pointed out turnovers.
“Everybody had one or two ‘It’s my fault, it’s my fault,’ and that’s 10 ‘my bads,’ and that’s basically 20 points or even more, so we all need to be better in those little extra efforts or just one more thing or make them do one more thing,” Nikola Jokić concluded.
The Nuggets are 47-32 and sitting fourth in the Western Conference standings, but could even slip to the Play-In zone in the final three regular-season matches. All of that despite Jokić having another historical season, averaging 29.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 10.2 assists.
