Kawhi Leonard and Giannis Antetokounmpo have been named the NBA’s Players of the Week for Week 24 in the West and the East, respectively.
Antetokounmpo averaged 36.0 points, 12.3 rebounds, and 13.7 assists as the Milwaukee Bucks went 4-0.
However, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Thanks to this award, according to Bucks Muse, Giannis has tied James Harden in the 4th spot of the All-Time list with 26 weekly awards, leaving Michael Jordan behind.
Only LeBron James (69), Kobe Bryant (33), and Kevin Durant (33) have more than him.
Leonard averaged 24.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.8 steals as the Los Angeles Clippers went 4-0.
Israeli Deni Avdija, Turkish big man Alperen Sengun, and Croatian Ivica Zubac were also nominated in the West, while German forward Franz Wagner was also a candidate in the East.
