Nikola Jokić has officially secured a triple-double average for the season, with one game remaining in the regular season.

Following his performance against the Memphis Grizzlies — 26 points, 16 rebounds, and 13 assists — he joined teammate Russell Westbrook and Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson as the only players in NBA history to achieve this feat.

With his fourth assist in the game, Jokić reached a total of 700 assists this season, guaranteeing an average of at least 10 assists per game. And with 70 appearances, it’s now certain he’ll exceed that number.

It’s nice. I didn’t do that before,” Jokić said postgame when asked about averaging a triple-double. “I don’t know. I don’t know what to say. It’s good.”

This marked Jokić’s 34th triple-double of the season. He is currently averaging 29.8 points, 12.8 rebounds, and 10.3 assists per game.
