Chicago Bulls’ Jimmy Butler suffered a knee injury during his team’s loss to the Denver Nuggets 115-110 last night, but his condition seems to be better than expected.
With 1:06 left in the first half of the game, the two-time All-Star was fouled by Joffrey Lauvergne, however he landed awkwardly on the hardwood of the Pepsi Center and hurt his knee.
The trainers signaled for a cart to wheel the shooting guard off, but first he hit the two free throws and then left the game and didn’t return. Fortunately for Butler and the Bulls, X-rays were negative and it was ruled a left knee sprain.
