By defeating the Utah Jazz, the Golden State Warriors made a new franchise record for most victories in a single season. But their 68 wins are not enough since they are still on the hunt of the Chicago Bulls historic record of 72 victories.
The San Antonio Spurs‘ superiority was pretty much clear against the New Orleans Pelicans. The Texans set a new NBA record with the their 38th consecutive victory at home. However, coach Popovich… was, naturally, not impressed. “”It doesn’t mean anything,”, he said. “Absolutely nothing. Maybe a cup of coffee, maybe.”. Tony Parker concurred. “It doesn’t matter to me. The championship does”.
Meanwhile, the L.A. Lakers left their problems behind the closed doors of the locker rooms and took the victory against the Miami Heat.
