Ryan Anderson agreed to a four-year, $80 million deal with the Rockets on Saturday, as Adrian Wojnarowski of the Vertical reports.
With Dwight Howard gone, Houston looked to add another top quality big man to the team, and they’ve done that with Anderson. Anderson is a 38 percent three point shooter for his career, and he averaged 17.0 points and 6.0 rebounds while playing 30.4 minutes per contest last season with the Pelicans. He’ll undoubtedly start at power forward for the Rockets, with Michael Beasley and Montrezl Harrell likely to be the primary bench players at the position.
