The Mavericks have only minimum-contract money left to spend in free agency and Rodrigue Beaubois may end up getting a roster spot according to ESPN.
The French guard has been doing rehab work at the Mavericks‘ facilities and he was a visitor at the Mavericks’ summer-league practice Wednesday morning.
After a good season in Strasbourg, Beaubois who was the the 25th pick in the 2009 draft, seems healthy enough to help his old team and the minimum salary for him in the NBA would be $1 million. So a return to the NBA makes sense for him also in a financial level. During the last season, Beaubois was one of the best players of Strabourg, the finalist both in Eurocup and the French ProA league.
