After Sergio Rodriguez and Willy Hernangomez, another player who belonged to Real Madrid last season is going to join an NBA team. Senegalese international power forward Maurice Ndour has agreed to a two-year deal with the New York Knicks, as Ian Begley of ESPN reported.
The 24-year old player also confirmed the news via a post in Instagram where he thanked his previous team and its fans for giving him the opportunity to play there, while introducing himself as a Knicks man.
Ndour is going to meet the familiar face of Willy Hernangomez in his new team. The two of them were frontline mates in Real Madrid and will continue sharing the same locker rooms in Madison Square Garden.
