After playing in the NBA Summer League with the Washington Wizards, Israeli guard/forward Shawn Dawson has accepted an invitation to participate in the training camp of the New Orleans Hornets.
The news were announced by Maccabi Rishon, the team he spent the previous season with. Dawson won the Israeli Winner League title with Maccabi, averaging 15.7 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. He finished the Summer League with the Wizards scoring 4.8 points and 1.2 rebounds per game.
Dawson has been an international with the national team of Israel, taking part in the Eurobasket 2015.
